Bradford Woods is Indiana University's Outdoor Center and collaborates with the Riley Children’s Foundation and Riley Hospital for Children as well as other schools, universities, fraternal organizations, and social service organizations in the state. Bradford Woods is an accredited member of the American Camping Association and the Association for Experiential Education. In the summer there are camps for children who have physical disabilities and chronic illnesses including children with cancer, sickle cell anemia, cerebral palsy, cranial facial anomalies, hearing loss, muscular dystrophy, autism, various physical disabilities, rare genetic disorders, and Down syndrome. We provide our campers with numerous opportunities to challenge themselves in a positive, fun, supportive atmosphere. Our philosophy and actions of empowerment and engagement enable the campers to achieve success in whatever areas that they choose. We also have opportunities for interns to work with Equine Therapy, youth at-risk, and military programming. Our summer internship dates are May 15, 2015 – September 13, 2015.
