Spaulding's TR department's CTRS's work with patients on the Brain Injury, Spinal Cord and Stroke programs. Spaulding has a very comprehensive Adaptive Sports program that serves it's inpatients primary May-October with golf,sailing, cycling,tennis, outrigger canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. Student will intern on a specific unit, carry their own patient caseload with involvement in not only adaptive sports,but also group and individual treatment sessions and community reentry opportunities.Students will also be responsible for a special project and event. Students will also have opportunities to work closely with an interdisciplinary team and educational inservices.
