The Intern is brought on as a City of Las Vegas hourly employee and is paid $10.00 an hour based on a 40 hour work week.
The City of Las Vegas Adaptive Recreation programming focuses on using recreational modalities that delivers the opportunities to promote personal choice and self-expression for individuals of all abilities. Programming provides community-based TR services that focus on leisure education and recreation participation. The intern will help program, plan, and implement a variety of activities for several programs that may include after school/work day recreation programs for kids and adults, wheelchair sports, overnight camping trips, and community reintegration programs.
