COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES (CARF)

CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. It covers rehabilitation for a disability, treatment for addiction and substance abuse, home and community services, retirement living, or other health and human services. Providers that meet our standards have demonstrated their commitment to being among the best available.

As a member of CARF’s International Advisory Council (IAC),  ATRA gets access to all CARF standards. ATRA's CARF Committee then ensures members are educated about CARF standards as they relate to their practice and updates members regarding any new professional developments.. Typically, the CARF Comittee receives the new standards in April while full implementation of standard changes occur in July.
